SAFE FOOD HANDLING IN THE HOME
Following safe food handling and cooking practices at home can help prevent foodborne illness. Many families cook food in large batches that can result in leftovers. Depending on what type of food is cooked and stored, the risk of food-borne illness can increase. If leftovers are properly handled the risk can be lowered.
